lol.. I love you guys, and you're little theory's! seriously..

I think you should drop the whole topic though if I'm honest. You'd have a better chance of finding Neal Armstrong, and asking him to take you through the moon landing detail by detail. And by the way, Neal Armstrong has been in hiding since the 80's lol

All right, that's it. We're all gonna compromise.

Somehow I/we are gonna find Jim Johnston . . . butT it won't be to ask him about his music. It'll be to find out his favorite kind of pizza topping . . . and then kidnap him.
Respectfully,
Al

Somebody should write the following message to Jim Johnston.

Dear Jim,

Please release your tracks, individually, on iTunes because I can't wait 12 months for CDs.You would probably make more money that way.

Jim is a very private person. I think he's OK with getting an occasional email asking about information on a song, but he changed his email previously because too many people got a-hold of it.

Now, I don't know 100% about this, because a lot of this was before I started collecting WWE music, but here's what (I think) I know:

As for how a lot of "rare" WWE themes got released? Back in the old AOL days, there were a select few people who had access to stuff and were able to spread it around via the download center (I can't remember what it's proper title is). Most of them were low quality .wav files, some even recorded with microphones as line-in wasn't a standard on soundcards at the time.

This is how the original MSB recordings were distributed.

It wasn't until later that WWE started putting a tighter lock on their media.

There won't be any chance he will give out stuff, let his server open, whatsoever

You can ask MSB himself as he comes here, he'll set ya straight on that.

There is many ways of how things get obtained and released I'd say via IM but I've said it too many times on messengers

That server thing is just bullshit. My guess is that for example Corporate Ministry 2nd theme came from THQ's Wrestlemania 2000 CD.

That theme was leaked around 2002-03. I was on the (now defunct) Sledgehammer theme site at that time, and I still remember how crazy people got (including myself) when it was posted CDQ since it was the most sought after theme at that time. Here's what someone posted there about how we got a hold of this theme:

Someone contacted WWE and said thay were going to do some kind of feature on them, possibly for local radio or TV. This person requested 3 themes to use as background music: Corporate Ministry 2nd, Rhyno 2nd, and Ministry of Darkness; I think he might have had to pay WWE a fee for using the themes. WWE sent the person those themes, and the person turned around and posted them online. That's how we have those 3 themes C/CDQ.

The person who posted this story said that whoever did this could get in big trouble, since he basically tricked WWE into helping him steal something copyrighted by them. I don't know how reliable this story is, but this is what I heard. And I also heard that this is the incident that made WWE a lot more protective of their themes.

This thread should be closed. It's all worthless spam.

Am I the only person that doesn't care about Rouph Diggerler or Wack Cider.

Shame that nobody has the re-recorded MSB stuff that wasn't in the Zube's and not many of us have the full collection of the original wave recordings neither.

I would download them for sure.
