Hey there!
I wondered if there is any way to view / get the titantrons by using the Wayback Machine.
On some of the old wwf.com websites that are archived, there are the superstar pages and a link to the titantrons (see attachment).
If you click on either one of the four links (28.8k, 56k, ISDN or 300k), you can download an ASX-file (e.g. "apa300.asx") but that file seems to be useless. At least I cannot do anything with it.
Do you know if it is possible to open those files or to convert them in order to get the titantrons?
Thanks in advance.

Old Titantrons via the Wayback Machine?
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Re: Old Titantrons via the Wayback Machine?
Unless they're stored on the Wayback Machine's server, the answer is no. Unfortunate too, as I believe there is still one or two there that are released, but we don't have.

I know of one, they had the Big Boss Man & Bull Buchanan one on the site, I've seen the Thumpnail before.

AFAIK Archive.org doesn't mirror that kind of media

Re: Old Titantrons via the Wayback Machine?
aren't asx files streaming?
Even back in the day I could never get titantron videos to download, let alone now
And even if they were non-streaming video files, the internet archive didn't save stuff like that back then.

I've managed to download a couple but they don't play.

Yeh but I think those files are just like links to streaming content (that is no longer there). These asx files (as far as I understand it) don't actually contain any real video or audio data. Someone more technical might be able to explain it better than me, but I don't think anyone will be able to access the content anymore.musicmike813 wrote:I've managed to download a couple but they don't play.

Yep. That's the only way, I found Jarrett/Owen's tron using that site (but in early 1999) listed there. However, the file wasn't there. From what I recall, I could hear some audio of Tiger Ali Singh.peteroshea90 wrote:Unless they're stored on the Wayback Machine's server, the answer is no.
