Re: Discontinued Library Discs
So where can I listen and use my nifty softwares to get the CD then?
On a different subject, maybe Patchwork MCT Africa is of use afterall as it may have Wild Samoans / Samoan Swat Team on it?

Re: Discontinued Library Discs
I don't know how much of a use these would be, but they do have addresses and phone numbers for the current owners of the music, plus over 3000 of the overall track titles for MCT.

Re: Discontinued Library Discs
Rocky Brothers I think was a definite. I seen him sell one hard copy on ebay. And knowing Craig he has either a digital backup or a hard copy backup, as I don't think he would sell it without making a copy, or having a spare original.

Early on in the WWE superstar documentary Jake the Snake Pick Your Poison
on the title - BRJ 28 - Badlands (1984)
the track - B-24 Running man was used in the background in the bar scene regarding Jakes alcohol woes
I believe it was also sampled in other documentaries as well.

Re: Discontinued Library Discs
Hmm looks like I neglected this thread again. Well I have just done a huge 60 CD update
4 Bosworths (which aren't on http://www.sohoproductionmusic.co.uk/musicsearch/)
6 Chappells (3 CHAP & 3 CHAPAV)
3 Coloursound
2 Extreme Music
20 FirstComs (16 P series, 3 more old Medium Tempo and a rare old 99 CD)
8 Immediate Music (read more info below)
1 JW Media Music (as all the rest seem to be on BeatBoxMusic.com)
15 Koka Media (they seem to be discontinuing more)
1 Valentino
In regards to Immediate Music, after some research it appears they originally did music on 15 DAT tapes. They then remastered the DAT tapes and started putting them on CD's. Here is the old blurb from their old site:
"The Immediate Music Catalog contains two types of CD releases. Our numbered Volumes are the production discs we release, generally two to three times a year, and contain all new cues in various categories. For example, Volume 16 contains cues in the Action, Comedy, Rock, Techno and Romantic Comedy genres. Our compilation CDs, such as Epic #1, are all genre-specific. These discs contain remastered versions of cues previously found on Immediate Music DAT and CD Volumes 1 through 15. Look for upcoming genre releases which will complete the compilation of all Immediate Music cues up to and inclusive of Volume 15. And of course, new Volume CDs will continue to be released and will populate our website with the Immediate cinematic sound!"

Re: Discontinued Library Discs
Just added another 21 discontinued CD's
2 Koka (1 which has 3 WCW tracks)
1 MCT
18 OmniMusic PBS series, I did not manage to rename all the tracks as mibim.com (where I got them from) took OmniMusic down before I could.

Re: Discontinued Library Discs
I think this might be one of the MCT512 tracks but on vinyl.
Edit: Nope it's one of them that didn't make it to the cuts on that disk but may have made it to a different disc. Still nice try by myself to try and find some vinyl alias names for tracks similar to the name switching ones from the original Rock as it's still valid research for missing MCT discs tracks no matter what MCT or Patchwork tracks belong to.
Very Diamand Studd like this one is by the way. In fact it's a cover of both the mainstreem and other production track and possiblely even the one thats the intro theme to the old Glam Rock VHS series as it's pure instrumental of Rock and Roll Part 2 without even the chorus being sung and I think thats how the intro theme to Glam Rock on Virgin went but thats going off topic of both discontinued discs and wrestling themes a bit so I'll leave it there.
In fact I've always loved this one even more than any of the 2 mainstreem versions if it's the same one as Glam Rock. I think it's a harder and better version than the original although I think a version of the original was also on one of the VHS tapes as a segment as a product of the late 80s with the idiot singing.

Re: Discontinued Library Discs
A track on the below album I believe was Owen Hart's WCW Theme (1991)
Album: MCT 512 - Rock For Everytime
Track: MCT512-006 (A Ras Du Sol)
Below a youtube video with that track:

Re: Discontinued Library Discs
Yeah it was one of my finds 7 years back. I have posted it a few times. It is also listed under Owens name, although without album information strangely.

It doesn't work for me, either. It has in the past, but now it doesn't.
