Leaks From Johnston's Studio?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M3FGsDppYPA
@ 2:25
I remember back when that theme just came out, there was a version of that song where towards the end like @ 2:25 you can hear 2 people talking over the song, but it was very light, and sounded like they were testing the song or something.
I'm hoping someone here know's what I'm talking about, and has heard this as well. I tried finding older version of that theme, but can't seem to find it right now.
So my question is, was this theme leaked from Johnston's studio or something, I always thought so, due to the talking that you can hear.
I think the same thing happened with Johnathan Coachman's 1st theme as well. Which is weird since it's production music. Think that only happened on the censored version though.

Re: Leaks From Johnston's Studio?
Not really catching your drift but this sounds like a looped edit. Plus, this version was released in Raw Greatest Hits. From the looping I can guess this edit was made when a shorter version was available (Titantron most probable).

Probably an entrance video rip looped (which is why the video is such crap quality, I guess), the video was uploaded in August 2007, the RAW Greatest Hits released in December of the same year.

Well the version I'm talking about was before any album or video game rip.
I still can't find the version, but in the version I'm talking about you could also hear paper being shuffled around as well. I gotta find it, so you guys know what I'm talking about.
Hoping someone still has an old file that has what I'm trying to show you guys.

Oh wow! Glad to see someone knows what I'm referring to.
I never thought of that. But that could be it, thanks!
Do you happen to have that old recording?

Byte This! is also the source for the Simon Dean theme and Sharmell's "If You Think".

And the formally missing bit at the end of Heart Throbs too which helped finish the complete clear edit off as the theme only played clear on the missing part on that theme. The rest of that particular recording had banter it also shown us what the true lengh of the track was.

And a full 6 minute version of Undertaker's "Rest In Piece", too before we got it from the DVD.

Re: Leaks From Johnston's Studio?
Yeah, before episodes of Byte This, they would often play the theme of the guest or for a while they were playing Volume 6, and some of the tracks were alternate mixes. Undertaker's was the full 6-minute theme instead of the "Darkest Side" remix, Christian's was a full version of the arena mix, and some of the songs played longer than the DVD rips.
There were two full plays of Kennedy's theme before the show, and I remember Y2Ken and I did an edit piecing the clear parts together and only 3 or 4 of us had the full track completely clear up until the CD was released. Most people just had the first play which had less talking.
But yeah, as TEOL mentioned, Byte This.

Thank you for the insight on this. Do you still have the old edit? I wanna hear it again for old times sake.
Thanks to everyone else helping out here!
