Since AAC seems to be the default format for WWE releases now should we now give the option of a conversion as well as the original in M4A/OGG/X-Wav as well?
I personally we should as M4A/OGG/X-Wav are decent formats probably even better than MP3 in some cases as well.
It's time for a change from the mp3 only Xylot I think as there are new formats in town.
Don't think we should go as far as Wave/Flac though unless if it's the compact version X-Box Wavs as normal waves are large and would suck bandwidth like a whore.

I just don't see the point in offering alternative format choices. The work required would be substantial for such a small gain. Are 320kbps MP3s really that horrible?

I think the site should offer the original iTunes' m4as contrary to converting them (and actually degrading quality) to mp3.

I personally think that if you wish to have the m4a's that you purchase the songs yourself?

This seems like the best idea, it's sad that most people don't even support the releases.Grumpy wrote:I personally think that if you wish to have the m4a's that you purchase the songs yourself?

Most people? You don't know who goes out and buys these themes. Remembering that the forums that you're about of, are only 500-750 member each. That is not a true relection of how many people go out and buy the releases.PaddyDragon23 wrote:This seems like the best idea, it's sad that most people don't even support the releases.Grumpy wrote:I personally think that if you wish to have the m4a's that you purchase the songs yourself?

Re: Original Format & MP3 Conversion Options On Themes
I brought every one other than the volume series classics re-releases I have on proper real CD.
I admit I only got the 10 tracks I needed on that from here because I had no choice to buy them on payed alone.
Everything else I got all proper.
