The Random Theme Info Thread

Post by Jackson »

I thought this thread may be useful for any small pieces of info on any old or new themes. It can be used for any updated theme counts or whatever. This way it also won't spam up anything in the shoutbox, and any useful piece of info won't be accidently avoided. I think it is best if no requests are made here but links can be submitted. If this is in the wrong part of the forum, then by all means relocate it.

So I'll guess I'll start with this small morsel of information: Ashley's 2nd theme is called "Jetset". :D

Excellent idea, TA! You're an amazing contributor, and I sincerely mean that. You bring a LOT to this site and help make it as great as it is.

I've made this topic a Sticky and hope to see people put their random information here instead of cluttering up the SB!

Also, just one simple rule: If it's already mentioned on the site (like in a theme's information), don't bother posting it, because it's already known.

A lot of the themes on this site are production themes that I don't know the titles of, and this thread will help greatly! Thanks!

Thanks, that means a (Xy)lot coming from you, and yeah this thread could really help out production themes. For example: Armageddon's 2007 theme is called "Bed of Nails".

I got this info from http://www.freewebs.com/hardcorethemes/ ... #139694535. That site may have some other PPV themes/titles this site doesn't have. Props to Hardcoretitantrons.

Tiger Ali Singth's first theme was originally used by Pierroth at the 1997 Royal Rumble.
Max Mini's first theme was originaly used by Mil Mascaras at the 1997 Royal Rumble.
I am still trying to find clear versions of both.

I was watching In your House:Canadian Stamped recently and Jim Neidhart came out to Alundra Blayze's second WWF theme.

The Acolyte's first theme was originally used by Kurrgan when he was manage by the Jackyl.

Caesar and Cleopatra's theme is from the soundtrack of the 1959 film Ben Hur, scored by Miklós Rózsa.

Dr Death Steve William's 1st WWF theme is a remake of Andre the Giant's NJPW theme "Giant Press", which I think was also used by the Machines in the WWF. However other people have said that they used The Stalker Barry Windham's theme.

Curtis Hughe's first theme was originally the 123 Kid's first theme. Hughes also had a second theme when he was Chris Jericho's bodyguard in 1999 or 2000.

Don Muraco's theme is a looped version of the intro of the song "Superstar" from the 1973 film/play Jesus Christ Superstar by Andrew Lloyd Webber. Muraco's theme was also originally used by Superstar Billy Graham.

Irwin R Schyster's "typewriter" theme was made only in conjunction with his theme from various wrestling video games released at the time, which all had a repetitive "typewriter" sound to it (check WWF Super Wrestlemania for the Genesis, Steel Cage Challenge for the Master System and NES). It was made by the WWF but never actually used by IRS. He has never had a theme apart from Ted Dibiase's and the one he used at RAW 15th anniversary.

Papa Shango's theme was used by the Executioner (Terry Gordy) at the "It's time" PPV in 1996.

The Renegade used Marc Mero's "Rough Rock" theme in WCW around the same time Mero was using it in the WWF.

Thanks for all the information, guys! I just have a few questions. First, what would Kurrgan's theme count look like? When did he use the Acolytes' theme, before or after the Oddities? Truth Commission?

Secondly, I don't have title info for the Renegade's theme(s), so I'm going to change the counts and just put "Rough Rock" as his only theme. Did he have any other themes?

Does anybody have any idea what theme Curtis Hughes used during his run as Jericho's bodyguard?

Thanks!

i might be incorect with some of these but ill share them anyways:

Kurt Angle's theme was orginally used by The Patriot and once by Sgt.Slaughter, it had a jingle bell instrument in the orginal arrangement, thus having dubbed as "Xmas Medal" by fans.

Iron Shiek used Tiger's ali Singh's theme at the Wrestlemania X-Seven gimmick royal rumble.

The Hardy Boys stable theme (without hayes) was not made by WWE, niether was Hardcore Holly's additude era theme and Tajiri's first theme when he went solo.

Chris Master's theme is a arranged version of The Ringmaster's theme.

correct me if im wrong with these

Chris Masters' theme sounds nothing like the Ringmaster's theme. I mean, maybe a little, but only because both were made by Jim Johnston. They sound alike as much as any of Jimmy's themes can sound alike.

Also, most of those are already noted, or are not info that can be added anywhere. But thanks for it anyway. I would really like to keep random info to things that can be added to the site or should be fixed. But maybe I'm being a bit anal. ;)

Regarding Kurrgan's theme count:
1st - Truth Commission
2nd - Liturgical Rites (Acolytes 1st)
3rd - Oddities 2nd
4th - Oddities 3rd

Hardcore Holly's themes
1st - "Armed and Rambunctious" Production theme
2nd - "Slow Death" Production theme
3rd - Used in 2000 was made by the WWE

Curtis Hughes didn't use a theme with Jericho (It might have been Jericho's theme, though). Also when he used 123 Kid's 1st theme he was known as Gutch Gracie or whatever that name was in the cage match

Where did you get that title, TA? A lot of the theme titles were my own inventions, but this one was not one of them.

Also the one on this site is shorter than the one I have. I think the one on here is looped.
