Cryme Tyme Lyrics
Green = Not sure
____ = Don't Know, Cant Understand
Here's my try:
Yo yo yo yo!
Shad Gaspard and GTJ, it's Cryme Tyme!
Brooklyn Brooklyn!
We're bringin it, bringin it (We're bringin the hood to you)
We're bringin it, bringin it (Watcha gonna do)
We're bringin it, bringin it (We're bringin the hood to you)
We're bringin it, bringin it (Yeah, that's how we do)
Hey yo, no more Hollywood, this is Hollyhood
and it's Cryme Tyme be scared you probly should
I come from the streets, I was raised in the gutter
I'll run up on you mother for that bread and butter
Mess around with this crooks, getcha property took
Rubbin is my job (so) I can pay up the books
Mobbin with my squadron, coming through stopping
Brooklyn, Brooklyn
Who want problems
I could care less about a coppa
They call me the coppa stopper, What you want something coppa
No need to pack your bags, no need to move
Cause no matter where you go, We're bringin the hood to you
We're bringin it, bringin it (We're bringin the hood to you)
We're bringin it, bringin it (Watcha gonna do)
We're bringin it, bringin it (We're bringin the hood to you)
We're bringin it, bringin it (Yeah, that's how we do)
Once upon a time it was nice and quite
Then along came the hood insitin' riot
I don't give a damn about a neighborhood watch
I'll take your watch, while the neighborhood watch
I'm a rugged individual, hardcore criminal
I bring it to men, women and children too
Yeah, I know you've heard of me
I'm the one responsable for the burglary
I got twelve misdemeanors and three felonies
Countless victims yelling "Help me, Please"
But no matter watcha say, no matter whatcha do
And no matter where you're at
We're bringin the hood to you...
Edit: thanks everyone for the help, hey my 1st language wasnt english so what I understand is different from what you guys understand, and more in a song where words are thrown just to make rymes lol
I edited in blue what I thought was right, I still think that "Help me, Please" is still right, I cant hear no "s"s after the help me
Listening to the song I heard the probably at the beginning so wasnt sure if to put it, but now I know probly exists .
Coppa is indeed another way to call a cop, man now that makes sense, couple stopper lol
I still think he was raised in the "getto" I mean cmon it has sense
Edit2: Fixed some pieces after hearing the Wrestling Anthems version which is way clear-er tham the theme itself.
Edit3: 11/06/09 Finished fixing some pieces

Re: Cryme Tyme Lyrics
The line is "help me please". Its just that "please" fades out a bit which is why you can't here the s sound

Re: Cryme Tyme Lyrics
And take the "the" out of the sentence because I don't hear that.
"Thats just how we do"
"Thats just how we do"

Re: Cryme Tyme Lyrics
Yeah, that's correct.jean945 wrote:"Yeah, that's how we do"
Also, "gutter" can also be a way of saying "slum" or "some run-down area". That's why it says "gutter" and not "getto".

Re: Cryme Tyme Lyrics
Maybe I'm going to far by thinking about grammar in rap lyrics, but fuck that:
The line "I'll take your watch, while a neighborhood watch" just doesn't sound that right. I'm thinking more along the lines of "I'll take your watch, while the neighborhood watched". Basically sounds the same, but makes more sense.
"Break you off somethin' propa' (short for proper?)" sounds more like "I think you want somethin' propa'" to me, especially if you listen to V1 instead of V2 or V3.
Also "I'll run up to you mother" sounds more like "I'll run up for your mother" to me, but that doesn't make sense.

Re: Cryme Tyme Lyrics
thats what I was thinkin too, but in rap songs, rappers would do anything to make words that cant rhyme, rhyme.
So with raps lyrics, you never know exactly what are they sayin lol

Re: Cryme Tyme Lyrics
To me this sounds like "for your mother" instead of "to you mother" but I still have no idea what the first part says>KENNEDY4PRES< wrote:I come from the streets, I was raised in the gutter
I'll run up to you mother for that bread and butter
I know this is picky, but it's "Then along came the hood incitin' a riot">KENNEDY4PRES< wrote:Once upon a time it was nice and quiet

I don't give a damn about a neighborhood watch
I'll take your watch, while a neighborhood watch
And it's "I'll take your watch, while the neighborhood watch"
(Just a "street" way of saying "while the neighborhood watches")

Bump. On the SDvsRAW 10 version a.k.a. V1, it's much easier to hear the lyrics.
