Undertaker Theme Counts (Let's Get This Right!)

Post by Jackson »

I'm only concerned with the themes that he used before his American Badass Gimmick. The rest I can figure out. I juxtaposed some of the theme counts provided by Gangsta Nation, perteroshea & TJF123 over the last year or so. If anyone can provide the proper links/recordings it would really help (for 3rd -14th). I know there's recordings on the site but I can't tell of the order especially since there's different titles.

1st: “Funeral March” (TU Tapes Release) *On Site*
2nd: “Grim Reaper” (Fan Club/MLG/Zube Tapes Release) *On Site*
3rd: “Graveyard Symphony” (SummerSlam 1994 TU Tapes Release) http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?jzljix1qnmn
4th: "Graveyard Symphony" (WWF In Your House game 1996) http://shutupload.com/dl/20809190a71c/
5th: "Graveyard Symphony" (Full Metal 1996) http://shutupload.com/dl/e9f70c972c08/
6th: “Fully Loaded Recording 7-26-1998"
7th: Used on Raw the night after Fully Loaded Recording(7-27-98) http://www.mediafire.com/?v3cymumjmzq
8th: "RAW 8-3-1998 Recording" Guitar riff echoes sound exactly as the Tombstone DVD Release... (Confrontation with Vince) http://www.mediafire.com/?xzqzq31kmzb
9th: “RAW 8-10-1998 Recording" (Tombstone DVD Release) http://shutupload.com/dl/c930da1db0bf/ (rip) http://www.mediafire.com/?mddv3zgnfiz (rec.)
10th: “Sunday Night Heat 8-16-1998" (This was also shown in WWE Confidential)
11th: "Dark Side" Volume 3 Theme (Without 1st Gong) http://shutupload.com/dl/43857d382d0d/
12th: “Ministry” (WrestleMania XV MLG Tapes Release) http://shutupload.com/dl/36e99e029697/
13th: “Ministry” (RAW 4-12-1999)
14th: “Ministry” (WWF.com Tron/Slow Version/Not Vol.4) http://shutupload.com/dl/c2a13a758b93/ (Better quality)

That version without both gongs is non-existent. He used Volume 3 without the 1st gong at Rock Bottom. Obviously, a recording you heard didn't have the first 2 gongs which is what you assumed he used.

Though people say he never used the track from Full Metal, I count it until proof is shown that he never did.

1st: “Funeral March” (TU Tapes Release) *On Site*
2nd: “Grim Reaper” (Fan Club/MLG/Zube Tapes Release) *On Site*
3rd: “Graveyard Symphony” (SummerSlam 1994 TU Tapes Release)
4th: "Graveyard Symphony" (Full Metal)
5th: "Graveyard Symphony" (WWF In Your House game)
6th: "Graveyard Symphony" (5th with Intro)
7th: “Fully Loaded Recording 7-26-1998"
8th: Used on Raw the night after Fully Loaded Recording(7-27 to 8-10)
9th: “RAW 8-10-1998 Recording" (Tombstone DVD Release)
10th: “Sunday Night Heat 8-16-1998" (This was also shown in WWE Confidential)
11th: "Dark Side" Volume 3 Theme (Without 1st Gong)
12th: “Ministry” (WrestleMania XV MLG Tapes Release)
13th: “Ministry” (WrestleMania 2000/RAW 12-4-1999)?
14th: “Ministry” (WWF.com Tron/Slow Version/Not Vol.4)

I have a question. Does Undertaker's WM 14 theme count or not. It is the one with the "O Fortuna" intro.

Here is a video

Nah, since it's basically the same theme song, unless they changed the intro or something, then it would count as new.

Didn't it have thunder thoughout the music or something? Anyway, here are a few of his themes from the summer of 1998. I have a few more recordings and if you want the two recordings from 12-4-1999, I'll up those as well if you let me know.

27-7-1998
1. http://www.mediafire.com/?v3cymumjmzq

3-8-1998
1. http://www.mediafire.com/?xzqzq31kmzb
2. http://www.mediafire.com/?vz5ydyb0jhe

10-8-1998
1. Theme same as 27-7-1998
2. http://www.mediafire.com/?mddv3zgnfiz (same as Tombstone DVD)

The title of Graveyard Symphonie II needs to be Rest in Piece like on Raws Greatest hits and Legends of WWE since its the official one.

Don't worry I'll fix that, though I think I'll use "The Darkest Side" since it's the original title.

If you guys go back to my 1st post I have added the links that I will be uploading to the site. I just need recordings for 6, 7, 11, 14

I have an extra recording here, don't know where it goes: http://shutupload.com/dl/be8d052fd03e/ 6th?

but the Darkest Side is the remix from Vol. 6 and also the title of Rest in Piece on the Vol. 6 DVD so it might be one of it but doesn't needs to be his theme and talking about Taker

BOD's themes need to be Out of The Fire/Rollin it's liested as Intro the Fire/Rollin

Scratch that, that recording is the 6th (from KOTR 95) but with extra wind SFX played over the PA. I added the clear theme to the list. Someone let me know of any mistakes.

Edit, Shouldn't the 4th & 6th switch places since Full Metal and the IYH theme have bell & thunder effects.

Ok it gets weirder. I'm looking through my folder of misc Taker themes and I come across a track that's pretty much the same as the 8/10/1998 recording. It's similar to the Vol.3 theme except the vocals are a higher pitch and there's chanting at around the one minute mark, just like the recording.

 ThemeAnthology you got me all confused here now.

After hearing 3rd from your list, I noticed that version is looped. About Graveyard Symphony 1995, what's different? It sounds the same as the TU Tapes, just the pitch is higher except this one is looped aswell, when the tapes version is unlooped and only 3:03.

Your right the 3rd/4th sound the same, the 4th is just longer but the quality is just different. I'll use what you just posted as the 3rd.

What you have as his 13th is actually his 12th. The WM2000 theme is his 12th, but looped.
