Was this a Jimmy Hart theme or is it production track? Also, is the only copy out the one from the Nitro video game?

As far as I know, the best version available is from the WCW Mayhem video game, yes.
As for who composed it, I have no idea; it has never been found in a production library, but I don't think Hart wrote it either.
I've always meant to go through the credits in the game to see if it says who composed the track anywhere.

"Nitro Theme" written by J. Hart, Jr. (from WCW Mayhem PS Credits)

if you're talking the first nitro theme , that IS production. if I remember right it's "Adrenaline" from firstcom (although I may be wrong on the library)

No, the second one is called Adrenaline, and it was written (performed?) by a group called Purity. I uploaded the single that features this track a few months back.

the first one was called adrenaline, and was a production track. the second was adrenaline (v.1) by Purity
my older notes list it as:
Monday Nitro
1st - Adrenaline (From FirstCom Music Library: FCD16)
2nd - Purity (Adrenaline V.1)

This is the the first Nitro ever, definitely not Adrenaline:

Adrenaline (FCD 16) does sound familiar and was probably used for something but I don't think it was for Nitro.

that's probably because the info is older and/or partially incorrect. there could have been a title change, they could no longer offer the track, there could be multiple songs with the same title.
what you linked used to be on firstcom as adrenaline. I have a stream cap of it from @2004

Adrenaline on FCD16 has nothing to do with the Monday Nitro song.
However, that track was indeed used for something else.

I can 100% say that the first theme is NOT "Adrenaline" from FCD-16. This track was used for Halloween Havoc '98 promo and another promo in 1998. Also used in WWF for promo's. Also the CD of which this is from was made in 1996.
The first Nitro theme is said to possibly be by Jonathan Elias. I haven't done that much searching upon this.

Great, looking forward to it.
Incase it's nothing, well, it wouldn't be the first time an in-house theme has been labelled as production or vice verca. There's a rec of Barbarian Theme by Hart that's got credit as being from Gene Michael Productions (music library) in the ID. Thanks to Craig and others, we know it's Hart made.

Have they even used Gene Michael Productions in the first place? I've never seen one by them ever uploaded by Craig yet? If they did I would like to see one posted. lol.

Thanks for the info, TEOL. So, it seems Jonathan Elias composed the theme just for Turner. He has his own music library if anyone wants to browse:
www.pressplay.co.il. The same place has Spain is Music library to check out.
To my knowledge, Gene Michael Productions has never been used but Craig may be able to provide more info. It started around 1994. Not sure who put that as the info to Barbarian's recording...
