Sound Effects Section?

Some where on the forums I find sound effects from video games like R-Truth's Vocals from SvR or a few sound effects and chants from WWE RAW 2 and Wrestlemania 21 I've used. I've ripped sounds from WCW Mayhem (finding out Tony and Bobby sometimes talk about things that arn't on the game like a Steel Cage Match) and on Just Bring it the announcers talk about a "Brahma Bullrope Match". So maybe we can have a section for the sound effects in video games like chants and voice overs and announcers. I've been trying forever to make a file to upload with the commentary from WCW Mayhem renamed and uploaded but I can only rip PS2 games and need to search around for Xbox and Gamecube games.
Long story short how about a new section for Sound Effects. Not even from just video games but Replay Double Features and the Raw Graphic sounds and Smackdown! Glass Shattering sounds (if any can be found)
Sound like a good idea to anyone else?
It could be great for people who want to use Wrestler Chants in the music too like Kurt Angles "You Suck" edits!

I agree! This is deffinitley something alot of us could contribute too. Think of it as a home for all those SVR sound effect requests, and lord knows how many of those we've had!
It would be a good place to keep things like these...

it's only like adding an extra category...
the links on the homepage would be something like..
'WWE SFX' - 'TV SFX' - 'QUOTES' - 'MUSIC SFX' - 'GAME SFX' - 'DVD SFX'
'Quotes' would be a fantastic section considering the amount of Superstar quotes we have at the beggining of themes / in video games ect...

Well , actually it depends on the admins , if they are willing to do it , then it's fine , it's just that it seems to me like a lot of work .
By the way Titan , from where are the quote and the gong ?

the gong is an edit of the one found in 'RAW'.. the gong found in the game is the 'rollin' gong that was pitched down from the original American Bad Ass gong. i just piched it back up. And the quote was pulled from the theme.

I think the main page is clustered enough without any more being added to it. It should just be a sticky on the forum. One sound effect I'd like to hear is the one 13 seconds into the WWF Sunday Night Heat 1st theme. I hear that everywhere now-a-days.

The database is, unfortunately, "hard-wired" for themes, as opposed to titantrons or sound effects. However, a whole other website, under say
sfx.xylotthemes.com (and maybe
vids.xylotthemes.com for trons) would work. I would basically duplicate the entire site (very easy) and create another database for this site, but this time with tables, records, etc. hard-wired for whatever the website is for.
I tried planning out a trons section on this site before, but it just wouldn't work out. A sub-domain is the best bet. It would be a completely separate site (with its own database, etc.), but under the same domain name (whatever.xylotthemes.com).
I have a lot on my plate at the moment. First, update ShutUpload with a redesign and premium accounts, then complete the Xylot Network (which could take some time). Xylot Sounds and Xylot Trons will be next afterwards.

Why do you always spell Xylot with capital Y?

If I recall, Rich was fine with both. Plus he hasn't really said (or maybe even decided) if it is pronounced "zy-lot", "X Y lot", "exy-lot" or any other way.

You still said "XY-Lot" in that topic so you never made it clear

Are you serious?
Also, it's pronounced, "Zye-lot" (rhymes with "pie lot").

That's how I've always pronounced it.

Since the o is in the middle of the letters l & t our English accent makes it pronounced out like Xylut same with Germans like Paddy as English is Germanic so it would be said like Xylut by them too, possibly also Aussies like Dean would say it like that as well.
Xylot is similar to Violet in that sense where it's said like Vilut.
So Xylut is my pronunciation of it due to Violet spelling thing being similar where it's not completely spelt how it's pronounced.

I officially accept "Xylut" (as in "violet") as an alternate pronunciation of the word.

Come on, don't help him with that bullshit and let it slide.

Why did you even have to go off topic to start with? We were talking about a sound effects section.

Yes, we were, and I responded that they are both on my to-do list. Paddy, apologize to your lord and master Peter O'Shea for derailing the topic! NOW!
