Anyway to rip the JBI & SYM entrance videos?

I'm going to be getting a HD capture card, and plan to re-record all of the trons that can't be extracted from their game discs. Is it possible, or has someone already posted trons from those games that have been extracted and not recorded with a capture card?

I plan on releasing high resolution recordings of the following in-game trons:
WWE Raw 2
WWE Wrestlemania 21
WWE/F Wrestlemania x8
WWE Wrestlemania XIX
WWF Smackdown! Just Bring It
WWE Smackdown! Shut Your Mouth

Those trons CAN NOT be ripped. Been discussed many times already.
I would appreciate the recordings of those trons if you plan on doing them, though.

I don't think you can extract/convert the .ipu files , but on SYM there are some .PSS file ( the smackdown intro , the theaters videos , etc . ) If someone want I can post them .

Raw 2 and WrestleMania 21 X-Box can be extracted direct anyway. They were .bik or didn't you know that before?

WWE Raw 2 for the Xbox does NOT have BIK files... it has XMV files, which CAN'T be converted to a playable format that PC's can play. WWE Wrestlemania 21 does however have BIK files, which I uploaded here. They also do have XMV files, the game has two sets of entrance video files, one for the WWE Shopzone section, and the actual entrances of the superstars when playing the game.

You will need QuickBMS.

Request your audio and video conversion script here and I'm sure they would probably help you out like they did with the Smackdown themes.

Cxbx however also has some interest. you can play those XMV files in there and record them in 60fps in Fraps or CamTasia as I read somewhere it opens those XMV files up on their own as well as being able to play roms.

I guess since it's an emulator it would always load up XMV files on their own better than it would play the actual game, try that.

Thanks for that topic, I'll try and request a script and see how that goes.
As to the emulation route, I already tried that. It doesn't work with Raw 2 or Wrestlemania 21 XMV files. The XMV file that it ever played was Turok's opening movie. I tried renaming the Raw 2/WM 21 XMV files the same as the one in Turok's game files, but no dice. The emulator just hangs at a black-screen, and will not play the XMV files from both WWE games. :( I guess there are different types of XMV files.

Look at the logos on start-up or in the book. Most of the time it tells you what the correct format of the audio and videos are.

Thats how I managed to get those ogg files done anyway.

It will also help you in requesting the correct plugin for if you have to use QuickBMS.

Here's a preview of the quality, of course it's going to decrease when zooming in.

Not sure about the PS2 games though, for some reason it's not wanting to show an image when I start up the console, but the Xbox and Gamecube games should be on there way.
