I'll just leave this here so there aren't a billion threads asking the same question (Move this to General Discussion if need be)

Do we really need this? I mean, I give an explanation whenever I lock a thread, and it's usually because of breaking of rules or something similar.

Yeah but when you lock a thread the person who made it didn't get the last say.
If any of my threads get locked I'd like to rant about it and request it be unlocked.
This is just a place to rant without the need for more than one thread.

That doesn't make sense. If a thread got locked, it got locked because it went of control or no proper discussion came out of it. If you are on another forum and they allow you to retaliate on locked threads, fine but not every forum runs the same. We don't need this thread because the admin/mods final word is the final say on everything (unless there is obvious power abuse).

Say we kept this thread, then we would need a "Why can't I be a mod?", "Why can't I have a giant signature", "Why can't I have multiple accounts" thread and etc. It's just following basic rules of the forum. :)
