What is all this shit going on for? I logged on today and seen a load of Antdogs members log in and post load of crap relating to me slipping out something, what is it?

On top of that, they accused XT from stealing inforation from out mate Craig when there is absolutely no proof of concept, which is plain stupid if you ask me.

Then I seen some Shoutbox crap, which proved that I was banned from Antdogs as well as other XT members without a good reason, so I'm basiclly demanding my Antdogs account, or begging for it back because it's just unfair what you do to us.

What the hell is going on with you guys today?

Seems like both set of forums are having a crackfest, excuse the pun, just getting my payback on Knorth with that one.

Do we really need another thread about AntDogs? I'm done with them and their accusations. Unless there's something intelligent that needs to be said that hasn't been said already before, I am locking this thread. Sorry TEOL.

The way I see it is this. Leave this thread open and allow all the flaming and crap build up here (and eventually let pour out on to other parts of the forum like it usually does).

OR leave this thread open and hope that all related content stays within these walls.

I don't really want to keep dealing with the anything that has the name ant or dog or Xylot hate, or password stealing and whatever junk you cool kids are talking about these. I'll take the pacifist route and just watch, I guess.

XT if you want to lock this thread that's your decision as I don't want to rip people of their freedom of speech even if said freedom can be abused at times.

The reason for it is so none of those people flame us in every other topic.

I too think this whole thing is stupid, but if it has to go on, it needs it's to have it's own thread so they don't ruin any of the other areas of the forum, for us that want nothing to do with this crap.

You have a point. All discussion about AntDogs will go here... sad as it may be, we need a place to reign in all the crap that most people couldn't give a shit about.

If anybody even so much as MENTIONS AntDogs in another thread, that post will be deleted immediately without warning or notice. I've had enough of everything that has been going down.

That having been said, it was very childish of Cuegle to post my full name, although I couldn't care less that my full name is out there. Anybody with half a brain and access to the Internet can Google me and find out that I'm a web designer who also dabbles in game design and used to have a credit on IMDb.com for my game until it was put on hold indefinitely.

What bothered me was that Cuegle tried to use it against me, like some sort of retaliation. And the fact that I made a fake Shout Box post under Steveo's name was somehow PROOF.

Listen, here is how the Shout Box works: If you are logged in, your user name is stored in a cookie (but not your password, so don't worry). In the Shout Box form, your user name is stored in a hidden field. When you post a message, your user name gets written to the "User Name" field in the Shout Box database. It has nothing to do with using other peoples' passwords.

I have a little something called respect for other people's property, which extends to personal information. I only collect passwords so people can customize their experience and so that no impersonations go on in the Shout Box like it did in the beginning of the year on the old site.

If people on AntDogs started seeing weird activity after they signed up, maybe *I* was hacked into and somebody else is using passwords to gain access to your stuff. If so, I can only say that perhaps I should have encrypted the passwords no matter what. But it's a little too late for that now.

I don't know what happened, or why some people saw strange things happen with their AntDogs accounts. I never even knew Cuegle had an AntDogs account.

I had never HEARD of AntDogs until Alexa/Fallen started bragging about it to me over AIM, and then suddenly there was a deluge of "invaders" posting flames, insults, and just plain bad stuff. I'm still cleaning up the shit to this day.

Isn't this 'spying' lark a little.. ..you know.. ..childish?

Well, I'm going to sit on the fence on this one I think, since I frequent both forums on a regular basis. Why if you didn't somehow access there, post up Steveo's topic "For those of you who post on XYLot", and if someone else gave you that particular topic, why would you care to post it up here and then lock it so nobody can reply. That really doesn't make too much sense.

I just think some people from there tend to come here, post up a couple of things and correct any name errors that maybe going on (That's a small thing I know). Other than that I don't see too much wrong. If you see an actual bad or demeaning comment only then should you delete or lock a topic. I still think that you should get over your ignorant view of Antdogs, because people like me fall under that category and I'm not a hard man to get along with.

You say its too late to change the passwords on the Shoutbox.... I know as a webdesigner its never too late, all you have to simply do is...

select oldpassword, username from shoutboxdb
$blah etc you know...
while ($blah ....) {
insert PASSWORD($blah[0]) FROM shoutboxdb WHERE username=$blah[1]
}

You know whatelse to fill in and its very simple...

Well if you ask me I think this is just stupid and childish. Fucksake people, why you have to fight which place is better? These are only forums, nothing else. There is no reason why both of these forums should fight which forum is better. I think people who can't get over that they are banned from AntDogs/Steveo has pissed them off or they just want to agree with Xylot themes should really get a life. Yeah, I remember when I have cried about my bans and how people have treated me like shit, but that was many many years ago when I was like...ummm...10 years old. Are we little too old to fight things like these? It's just internet, nothing personal...well sometimes it can go but come on, get a life and move on. XylotThemes, I think you just made a mistake when you opened this topic, it just increase more hate. The best way to end this whole AntDogs vs Xylot Themes feud is just ignore the whole thing. AntDogs people will stop bashing this when some time has past. So my advice is that you should take a look in the mirror, know your role and shut your mouth, AntDogs people and Xylot Themes people, both should just grow up. Jeez, this is so childish...

This topic SHOULD be closed...you're just promoting AntDogs...now people wanna sign up 4 it...if they open registration there memebers will rise A LOT!
