Scottish wrestler Grado has made a public appeal to music legend Madonna after he was blocked from using 'Like a Prayer' as his entrance theme.

The TV star has been using Madge's 1989 hit Like a Prayer as his entrance music for several years, with the tune becoming synonymous with the pro-wrestler during his bouts.

He recently made his Hydro debut in a high profile match in the TNA wrestling franchise against Al Snow, with the programme due to be aired on the UK's Challenge TV and in the US.

But Grado, real name Graeme Stevely, was stunned when he received an email stating that Madonna's people had prevented the use of the song for the planned broadcast on Friday.

Grado's down on his knees, #SayYesMadonna

He uses a ripoff instrumental in TNA anyway which is not the real thing but the crowd chants the lyrics to it over the top of the ripoff.

From the Tapings (Spoiler : Coming from attending the London Show) : He used the Version he uses everywhere (which isn't even the Ripoff Version he used that one time on Xplosion)
Whether it gets dubbed (w/said version) or TNA will let it roll and just do it anyway we'll find out later (or Sunday when it airs in the UK) - if not always could potentially book Grado vs. Madonna for Bound For Glory!!!! :P

Wait!!!! It's a UK episode so why would the US still be showing it first? Thats stupid they should have skipped a week out in the US and have it air in the normal slot but after the UK and of course make the next US one a double with the final UK one being shown before it on the same night.

What in the actual fuck do you mean by that? That makes no sense.

Also, for those in the UK. Please watch Impact tonight. Let's see if "Like a Prayer" is dubbed there too.

Well it does make sence because UK shows are supposted to be aired in the UK first.

And yes he used the dub.

How would it even make sense for them to air in the UK first? I don't get that..
Anyways, Thanks for letting us know he used the dub.

If it's a US show it should air in the US first. If it's the UK it should air in the UK first.

Simples

I think he means that since it was filmed in the UK, it should air there first.

RAW & SmackDown! gets taped in the U.K. sometimes. Therefore, it should be air in the UK before the USA?.
I don't find any logic on this.
Because it depends what the company (in this case, WWE) decides to air it first since they had the power to air it WHERE and HOW. Since it's a company created in the USA, it's obvious they're going to air it in their country.

Correct and have a double when the next US taping is on so they get to see the final UK and first US back on the same night.

Or have UK ones shown on Challenge live which is another way of doing it but still a UK taping should be shown in the UK first as it makes perfect sence to do show as if it's coming from England it should be coming from England which means playing in England first.
