3CD's won't allow what he wants to do with the project though. To be able to do that we will get poor shortened tracks which even Hart himself wouldn't want going out as I'm sure his negoceations with RET are to release all WCW's and realease them in full.

There is no way it can fit on 3 80 minute CDs with no shortening.

Why not? There aren't too many tracks that he has released anyways, so anything is good. If it's a 3 disc set, then there is no reason why there can't be between 40 and 50 tracks all up.

According to him there are over 100 tracks. I don't think 3 80 minute CDs can handle all those tracks without lengh shortening but then again if most of them are short like Steiner's natually they may be able to.

It's supposed to be an iTunes release... probably in 3 parts. So the songs should be in their entirety.

I do have fears about them fitting over 100 tracks on 3 80 minute CDs. I personally don't think it can be done without rubbish shortening.

Isn't it supposed to be an iTunes release? If that's the case, all the concerns about fitting 100 themes on 3 discs are invalid, because they won't be released on CD, they'll be digital releases. That means longer themes and better quality.

But yeah, I'll shit my pants when this thing is released.

If it's to be released on iTunes, then why would he call it a "3 Disc Set?" He could have just said 100 WCW themes set to be released on iTunes, or something. But if they are physical cds, I hope they don't turn out like that Mayhem album. i was ticked off about how those themes were done.

And if it is somehow on cd, that's a definite buy for me. Hell, he should just release those 100 themes in a boxset.

If you noticed most if not all Hart Themes from WCW are all like 2:00 to 2:45. there for he might be able to release all on 3cds. what if them 3 cds was mp3 format? he could put them all on 1 cd lol.

Oh yeah. MP3 CD's. ITunes supports making them. Shame I got the more limited lookalike model of the SONY system that supports them as the actual later revision of the same look model has MP3 CD support I wish I had that version.

I contacted the email that Jimmy Hart has posted on his Twitter, about Jimmy Hart's theme song release, and this is what I got in response:


"Jimmy will be uploading his music to ITunes shortly..."

What a cheeky sod I said awesome to his info then asked him in the same paragraph if he knows anything about discontinued library music from MCT, Coloursound, Bosworth & Vinyl.

Well it is worth asking don't think he will answer though as I posted it on Twitter not email.
