Thanks Afro, about D.I.F.H. , I asked Double J (Jimmy Jacobs) about who made the song, he didn't know about it :(

Apart from that here's another challenge....

I believe this one is from Royal Rumble 1997 DVD

Héctor Garza, Perro Aguayo & El Canek => https://app.box.com/s/iz9uv9ws5bgdzq1qet3r
Jerry Estrada, Fuerza Guerrera & Heavy Metal => https://app.box.com/s/q5at39ymn0uxdqkf1axd

I've checked you dubs folder and you've found it. I'd like to see if you program can work with these ones.

They're from commercials for when WWE/TNA comes to this area. (All about 30 seconds, with talking over it)

WAY too much talking, plus the music tracks in the background are pretty quiet compared to the voice over. Not exactly good samples to work with, but I tried them anyways. Nothing came up though.
PaddyDragon23 wrote:Sorry for posting a request Steve, but I didn't knew where else I should post this one.
That's cool. You guys can post shit if you want but I'm not going to in here. Just focusing on getting some samples to spit at this software.

Few things here: 1. My software only recognizes MP3 files and as I previously stated I'm not trying to go around and rip/convert people's files. 2. These are quite possibly some of the worst recordings. I can't expect my software to pick up things you record with a cell phone from a video playing off a TV. There's proper ways to do it, and that's definitely not one of them.

LOL why did you upload them to box when you've noticed that I already have the recordings in my found folder? but yeah I've already tried a bunch of my own recordings into this thing. I can't remember if it picked these up or not but that doesn't matter because I already found it long before I wrote the software.

OK so that leads me to Alby's themes:

You gave me a bunch, and I didn't get a chance to listen to them, however I did get these results:

TNA Knockout Knockdown Photoshoot Segment b.mp3
Result shows: XCD247_01 LA DANZA.mp3

TNA Knockout Knockdown 2013 - Knockouts Promo.mp3
Result shows: XCD198_01 LA CREME DE LA CREME.mp3

Enjoy

The only recordings i have are from my phone. I dont know if amyone has access to the compilation but if they do, theyd be able to provide better recordings. I was left to use the voice recorder on my phone in order to atleast give people an idea of what im looking for. But thank you for takimg the time to at least look at my recordings

Nuttin. :(

I know nothing about that recording (like who it is or where it came from) but it didn't pull up on any known library used by WWE.

Anyways, feel free to keep em coming. 8-)

Oh yeah... that was the 1st track I tried  I'm pretty damn sure it's a Jingle Punks track so it's going to take me more time to build up my JP database on the server. Right now I have 36,000 songs from Jingle Punks in there, and there's a shit ton more to download and add in there.

I have a trick that quickly (and somewhat easily) downloads the 128s off JP's servers and it even includes some of the discontinued tracks ... but again, it takes a lot of time. I have to do it individually by artist... and there's a shit ton of artists on there...

BUT yeah ... I just wanted to mention this:
===========================

I'm still working on getting this thing up and running for multiple people to use. I'm still in the very beginning stages of it actually working, and I'm doing all the actual finger printing on my local computer.

So if anyone wanted to throw some recordings at it, they'd have to have a (complicated) local installation to fingerprint the file, then they could upload it to my server, which will hopefully spit out results.

Even the results page is a bit complicated to read, for beginners.

It'll get there... just not yet. Until then, all people can do is continue sending me the MP3 files they'd like identified.

The biggest help would be people uploading ZIP files of entire libraries so I could finger print them locally, and ingest them into my database.

Hey, does your invention have a name?. If it doesn't, maybe we need to put a name just like the Steve-O-Matic or something like that :P

Haha well being that audio fingerprinting has been around for a little while now, and Shazam is probably the biggest one to use it, I can't really market it as my own idea. I basically pieced together other ideas to make something work for myself.

Plus Shazam is so desperate to be the only ones in the music IDing game they would probably send lawyer bullshit your way. Like they've done in the past.

I already found that before I made the software so I never tried... but chances are 99% sure it'd find it.

The vocal one even mentions WrestleMania, wonder how WWE was able to find that song.
