Hope we get to see the first release by tomorrow, hopefully by tonight. Jimmy should just tweet updates once the themes are released.

If this is all just a ploy for a massive Jimmy Hart heel turn, it's working. How do you tweet that a song will be released "any moment" on two different occasions and still have nothing up on iTunes/Amazon/whatever two weeks after the fact?
Ugh.

I don't think anything is going to happen now that WrestleMania has gone.
I am still keeping my high hopes for something to come out though.

The first one is up! I'm a little disappointed, but at least he finally posted something.

Yeah at least it's a release, which is good. As mentioned elsewhere it seems like he was genuine on April 2nd when he said "only moments until the first release baby!!!" as the track has a release date of April 2nd, but it certainly wasn't up before as I have been checking.
Here's some others that he might release:
Cinnamon Girl*
Everyday I Have To Cry*
Good Ol' Boys (as posted last year)
Handsome Jimmy (as on Favorite Hits (Raised by Gypsies))
I Don't Give A .......
I'm The Man (as on Favorite Hits)
Keep On Dancing*
Man On The Moon
Monday Night Memories (as on Favorite Hits)
Old School
Oldies But Goodies (as on WCW Christmas Brawl (We're Still Rocking))
Rap is Crap (as on Favorite Hits)
Why Should I Cry*
* Songs from The Gentry's days

Don't you think he'll release some of the actual WCW wrestlers' themes at some point? God, I hope so.

It's cool that he did release something. Bound to be plenty of more releses if the first one or two are popular. I wouldn't be posting his releases but hopefully the people who want them will also download them from Hart's store.

LOL, Jimmy went through the same thing I went through. I had a feeling this was going to happen, judging by the posted release date. And it's good to see that he released something, and hope that he keeps on having iTunes releases.

I'll probably buy only the non re-releases and the improved quality versions over the cranky old arena tapes and the Saluna bootlegs but I will surely buy some Jimmy Hart's especially the 100% unreleased tracks.
Edit: 79p can't go wrong with that price for a Jimmy Hart even if it is a re-release.

I'm going to buy them all so that he feels there's an incentive to continue to release more tracks. I think others should do the same; what's 99 cents, really?

Wouldn't the WWE have already brought that content along with the World Championship Wrestling name and it's tape library?

That's what I thought. When they purchased WCW, I assumed it included everything. The video library, the song database and all the copyrights etc.

I remember someone saying how Jimmy kept the rights to all or alot of his songs.

Turner has a separate publishing division (RET, I believe?) that owns the rights to the most music made for WCW.

Awesome but that A flagg guy on the other hand doesn't know what his talking about. Goldberg & Ric Flair are not legal because they are production not Hart made themes unless his referring to the ripoff from Backstage Assault which is unused for Flair and Crush Em which is a worthless re-release as it's been released as one of the very few full tracks on the Mayhem CD if I'm correct about that.
Well tell a lie as Ted Turner does own a few production libraries of his own like the one In The Squared Circle came from named Turner but I doubt he owns the library that Goldberg comes from or the one that Flair comes from neither.
And even that now belongs to Sound Ideas where the Goldberg gong but not the theme came from but then again it's maybe the other way around and Turner now owns Sound Ideas as well.
In other words Ric Flair and Goldberg I don't think are legal for the project although they could be if Turner owns all the music libraries they came from.
Theres my runt on music rights management and A Flagg not knowing what his talking about relating to it.
