Discussion regarding the site itself. This includes the upcoming Version 7. Also comments about the site, suggestions for V7, questions about XT, problems with your life, and errors — ooh I hates those errors!
I consider the main page as a very good information source of entrance themes for every themer, both members or non-members of the Xylot community. However, sometimes, sources of themes can be seen from commentaries but are not present on the notes (and then cannot be seen by non-members). Since it seems to be possible to add notes for entrance themes, I was wondering if it could be a good idea to add where some themes can be heard clear and/or full. Here are examples:
Val Venis
3rd: “Hello Ladies” (Remix; V2) by Jim Johnston
Artist: Jim Johnston
Used: Heat (June 18th, 2000) Note: can be heard on Smackdown 2 video-game
Golberg
3rd: “Who's Next?” (V2) by Jim Johnston
Artist: Jim Johnston
Used: RAW (April 28th, 2003)
Notes: Jim Johnston remake of "Invasion" from Kosinus Music Library. Can be heard full on "Goldberg - The Ultimate Collection" DVD menu.
Title from Jim Johnston BMI Page.
Tatanka
3rd: “War Cry” by Jim Johnston
Artist: Jim Johnston
Used: SmackDown! (May 26th, 2006) Notes: a sample was released with its '06 titantron on WWE.com
Title from Jim Johnston BMI Page
Rey Mysterio (Miscellaneous Themes)
1st: “Booyaka 619” (Remix) by Jim Johnston feat. Rey Mysterio & Mad One
Artist: Jim Johnston feat. Rey Mysterio & Mad One Note: released as digital download on WWE.com
2nd: “Booyaka 619” (Instrumental Remake) by Jim Johnston
Artist: Jim Johnston Note: clear sample released on WWESlamCity.com titantron
And about leaked themes, the source would not be necessary, same for the themes that came from arena tapes.
Official release: Physical/digital release from the wrestling company with the intent to sale for profit.
Ex: Itunes, Compilations
Unofficial release: Direct rips from multiple media sources.
Ex: Titantrons, DVD's, WWE Network
Leaks: Stuff we shouldn't have.
Ex: MLG Tapes, peer to peer file sharing
Recordings: This song or portions of this song can only be heard through televised/fan cam recordings
____
Then we can list where the theme is from and the length of the track as well if the theme is a full/complete release:
Ex: "Hell Will Be Calling Your Name"
Source: Unofficial
Where: WWE SmackDown vs Raw 2010 (2009)
Length: 3:10
Complete Track: No
I don't think ALL of these is worth to note. I mean, if we're going to list each lenght of each track, it'll take like months, even years. Also, I don't think leaks deserves to be mentioned unless you want a monument to the person that make those songs plublic. I do undestand the unofficial releases but not leaks. I do like the idea of linking release to buy but as I previously mentioned with the lenght of tracks this also can take a lot of time.

Ok that's fine. We don't HAVE to have the lengths listed, I think it's just good to compliment certain songs since on youtube there are so many fan edits/misinformation.
Instead of the term "leaks" we can just say "From the Vault", "Collecter's Stash", "Rare Release" something tongue in cheek.
I like the "Heard on/from" field. not too sure about the "Source" field. Though maybe there should be something like "Release type": CD, Download, YouTube Video (for when WWE puts up a video but doesn't sell the theme), Other (for things like that German WWE site that had that alternate version of Umaga's theme, etc.). Not sure. But for now, later today I can add a field for where the theme can be heard clear and in full, if applicable.
