Someone's power hungry and it ain't me

Let's get to the point. Last month I was banned by FatAngryProphet for about 2 weeks for reasons I say are bullshit. When I PM'd Terran earlier this month so he could oversee the situation and let him know someone's been going on a power trip, I got no reply for him. So I'm making this shit public. So the next time a motherfucker like me stands up for himself, the same bullshit doesn't get to fly. Let me remind you, the reader, Terran, the admin and owner of this place HIMSELF perpetuated a set of rules to be followed on this forum. Well it seems the same set of rules doesn't apply to everybody now does it.

This is the PM I sent to Terran half a month ago which explains pretty much everything.

Hey Terran, long time viewer, first time caller.

I don't wanna fill you up with too much drama since you come here for the important stuff, but I felt I needed to bring this up to you so that it doesn't happen again. In short, some weeks ago I received a ban from FafAngryProphet around circumstances I felt were of a power trip and abuse of power rather than a proper ban.

I should note the comments I made that he claimed deserved a ban were all deleted by him, denying other staff members the ability to judge if he was actually right in putting the ban.

I do recognize FAF has put work into the site, he was one of the people that re-uploaded a bunch of music to the site when we got the feature back some months ago but as of late, I've felt like he has let himself go a little bit too much.

In short, this is what happened,
- I posted this WAV on the forums for a random sfx so that it could be uploaded to the site.
- Found the listing on the site had a lower quality one, when ahead and reposted the link so staff could see it and upload it, since it seemed they had missed my forum post.

- FAF went ahead and warned me that contributions were not to be made on the listings in a rather rude and just plain condescending way unwarranted of the situation.
- At this point, I felt I was being talked down to by someone that thought he could get away treating people badly just cause he worked on the site. I made note of that to him in the most respectful manner I could find, while at the same time, standing up for myself.
- He tells me I'm on thin ice because it wasn't the first time this had happened, something I don't even know what he's going on about, since this is like the second ever issue I've ever had in this forum for the 6 years I've been here, and accuses me that I deleted the comment I made (which I didn't, why would I do that?)
- I reply to him twice (only got the first one in the screenshot), in the second and last one telling him I didn't think the comments section was a good place to have an argument and told him to lets just leave it at that.

So after that, he deleted everything (as you can see), he didn't even update the sfx track to the one I uploaded (track 21), and I just went unto my business.

The next day, while I was on the site I I found this, where people still hadn't found the track so, since I have the DVD, went ahead and uploaded the recording to this specific site (note how there are no downloads in that link, just a player), so people could hear it and find the production track (screenshot of the post). I thought the site was gonna be ok seeing people post youtube/dailymotion links everywhere in the comments so they can hear what a track sounds like.

Well, after that, apparently FAF saw my post, deleted it again (as you can see), it seems he didn't even check the link and straight up banned me.

I understand links are to not to be posted on the comments section and I respect that rule but I think it was unacceptable how FAF behaved himself, when in the same situation he could have enforced the rule without being disrespectful (like Paddy for example). It seemed to me he didn't appreciate me standing up for myself and, for lack of a better word, got butt hurt he wasn't having his way and banned me at the first sighting he got of me. The second one, I believe he was just straight up wrong and needed a justification to fuck with me since I didn't let him walk all over me.

So after all this petty shit, I ask you to evaluate the situation yourself and do something if necessary, because I don't want this to happen again. I like this site a lot, it's one of the few places I deem are free of drama and free of bullshit I can go to, and I'd like to keep it that way.

As of right now, I feel uncomfortable contributing to a site that condones this type of power tripping bullshit. I don't even care if this is the only place I know where I get to discuss one of my hobbies, I'd rather swallow all my fucking music with sprite rather than be here and be shit upon by someone with a fucking ego who think he's better than everyone here just because he works on the site. You can enforce fucking rules and not be a dick. How about that fucking bit of news for ya?

I even think it's hilarious this dude deleted everything so nobody could see what had happened and successfully censoring what had occurred, why would he delete everything if he thought he hadn't done anything bad? He even admitted to being a dick, but he still allowed himself to.

So I plea Terran (once more) to oversee the situation and do whatever needs to be done about all of this.

You're literally the only person who has a problem with me. That speaks volumes.

If you don't like me, that's fine. I legitimately couldn't care less. You're the guy who broke the EXACT SAME RULE a record SEVEN times in one day. That is why you got banned. If you don't want to follow the rules, then you can get the hell out. Nobody is going to miss you.

You were issued a 7-day ban, and I got permission from Rich before I took that action. So if you think I did it out of spite, then you're dead wrong. Also, let me set the record straight: I didn't delete the comments to "get rid of the evidence" so to speak, I deleted the comments because they were nothing but rule-breaking, unnecessary comments. But Rich saw the screenshots I took.

Anyway, the way I see it, you're sitting on three warnings and you've already had a 7-day ban. So doing something dumb like this isn't the best course of action. I treat everyone fairly. If ANYONE breaks a rule, I'm calling them out on it. It's not some sort of personal vendetta like you think it is.

If you have something you want to say to me, then PM me. Otherwise, quiet.

Don't think I didn't notice the FATAngryProphet jab you just threw, by the way. I'll give you a one-time pass on that one.

That better have been an accidental typo.

As for the temporary ban... you were told over and over again to stop posing contributions on theme comments. All I know is that FafAngryProphet showed me multiple examples of you doing this and not listening to him when he told you to stop... so he issued a temporary ban.

All of the other stuff I can neither confirm nor deny. You will have to take it up with FafAngryProphet, as I have no first-hand knowledge of what went on.

Also keep in mind that we do not have a "flame" section here. I'm tired of stuff like this being made public. Talk to FafAngryProphet about this, settle things with him personally, in a PM or something.
