Randy Orton - Voices / HBK (Correction once and for ALL)
The stuff on the site is wrong.
We know there are 3 versions right?
- The one from Vol.9/iTunes (so called "CD Version")
- The one from SvR09/SvR10/LoW
- The one from SvR11/All Stars (so called "Arena version")
- The first one is the CD version and WAS NEVER USED ON TV. It was used in FCW when he went there for a visit. Anyone has proof he used it on TV, let me know.
- The second one, in my opinion, was not the one that debuted at Judgment Day. He started using the SvR11 one right away. If you go back and listen, you can clearly hear those strong guitar strums before the Chorus and, if you have good ears, the drum from that version. If you want even more proof, the piano in the intro of the SvR09 version is different from the SvR11 version. If you vocal cut them, you can clearly hear the difference, the SvR09 has more notes while the SvR11 just does the 4 notes. Go ahead and vocal cut Judgment Day's entrance and hear for yourself.
Now, if he used it on TV or not, well yes. When they go to the UK (or Europe for that matter) they use (and until now too) the SvR09 version.
- The third one, well, we know the story about this one. The so-called "Arena version", we got it from SvR11.
Now, corrections that should be made are as following:
Currently:
10th: “Voices” (Arena Version) - There's a mistake 'cause this version is not the Arena version, it is the 2nd one I listed.
11th: “Voices” (CD Version) - Now this one doesn't even have to be here 'cause he never used it. This is really the Vol.9 version so it is correct as far the title goes.
How it should be:
10th: “Voices” (Arena Version) - Upload the right one, the third one I listed.
11th: “Voices” (??? Version [This version doesn't have a name in the themes community, right?]) - Here, put the second one I listed, the SvR09 version. Why? Because, the first time they used it on TV was (if I'm correct) when they went to the UK and obviously it has to be after Judgment Day, so this one goes after the "Arena version".
Anyone has some proof that I'm wrong or wanna debate this, go ahead and let's do it.
-----------------------------
Now, about HBK's count. Sexy Boy. Well, you should put the CD version somewhere in there. He has used it plenty of times, like in the UK, when he wrestled the British Bulldog in 1997. I'm not too sure about that one but whatever.

I think the version you mentioned with the piano intro and less harder guitars should be referred to as the 'debut version', or simply V1.

I got you, it would be 10th - SVR11 version, 11th - SVR09/10 version but can you make some sort of comparison edit with those two as I really can't hear the difference in either other. I can't do a vocal cut either.

Not trying to be a bitch but does it really matter cause it is always gonna be the same song in the end.

Re: Randy Orton - Voices / HBK (Correction once and for ALL)
Yeah, it really doesn't matter. Just like if you say Priceless from SvR09 is the same thing as Priceless from Vol.9. Cause, shit, is the same song right? Same lyrics, same notes. Same thing right?
Just because you can't hear the difference doesn't mean "it's the same thing".
Here's some real proof.
You can clearly hear the differences.
This goes like this: first the SvR11 version plays, then the SvR09 one, and repeat.
http://www.box.net/shared/mbulmzpmobb8tkalz33u
Personally I like the SvR11 better, cause of the sick drums.
Just in case, here is the scheme.
Piano difference in Intro (Vocal Cut)
00-06 - SvR11
06-12 - SvR09
Drum difference (Snare to be exact)
12-15 - SvR11
15-18 - SvR09
Guitar difference
18-21 - SvR11
21-25 - SvR09
Piano difference in pre-chorus (Vocal cut)
25-36 - SvR11
36-47 - SvR09
Guitar difference (again)
47-50 - SvR11
50-53 - SvR09
Just because you can't hear the difference doesn't mean "it's the same thing".

Who are you to say that? I've seen you do way worse than that. Major double standard.PaddyDragon23 wrote:Who cares? Most common fans don't even care about that.

There's no need to troll on people over it. You don't care, we get it. Be happy with you crappy remixed album versions.PaddyDragon23 wrote:People care way to much about this stuff.

Again, just because some people don't care doesn't mean it doesn't exists.
You can clearly hear they are 2 totally different versions and if some are deaf, that ain't my problem.
And the site is still wrong. Any admin wanna correct it?

I believe this guys RKO and HBK corrections are correct. HBK definitely.
I've heard the full non looped Full Metal version used at One Night Only as well as possibly his shitty loop Anthology version on his current final appearance.

Jena would you happen to have any recordings on when he used the SVR09 version?

The way I hear it, the 09 version sounds like the CD version.

Re: Randy Orton - Voices / HBK (Correction once and for ALL)
He has never used the CD version. The main difference between the CD version and SvR09 is the extra guitar after the intro (the intro being "I hear voices..."). Well shit, and of course the Burn in my Light Intro Intro. Other than that, Jim made some tweeks to the song and of course the mastering. Just like his normal exit theme (which is the SvR09 version if you didn't know), they use that same version in overseas tours.
About the recordings, let me check out Google....
EDIT: I meant Youtube... Anyways, here's the link
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-lmXSGD0a2k&t=2m45s
You can clearly hear the SvR09 piano.
If you want I can still go ahead and vocal cut the video so you can hear the piano clearer.
