Themes from videogames over the years

Post by Seanicho »

In order to organize and rebuild my collection, I've been trying to make a list of themes that have not been officially released, but have been featured in some form in the WWE games over the years.

Edit: Alexandre took the time to make an extensive list, a few replies down. Thank you!

It's a good idea to have a topic like this one.

Here are a few ones I have in mind :

WWE 2K14
Big E Langston - I Need Five (V1)
Macho Man Randy Savage - Pomp And Circumstance
Sin Cara - Ancient Spirit (V1)

WWE 2K16
Col. Mustafa & General Adnan (drumroll theme loop)
Diamond Dallas Page - Diamonds (the version in the game is a loop edit, and the full track is available in the DVD menu)
Paul Wight - Massacre
Ric Flair - Early Sprach
The Nation of Domination

WWE 2K17
Saturday Night Main Event (very short snippet, compressed audio)
Big Show - Big (V1) (DLC content)

WWE 2K18
205 Live - Hail the Crown (Remix)
Ric Flair - Also Sprach Zarathustra

I'll take a deeper and more serious look at my folders to bring more infos and correct what might be wrong. Do you want to count uncompressed versions of themes that were already released ? I can list them with a side note if you need.

Thanks man! I've been finding a couple more here and there that I'll add in. Counting uncompressed versions would be great.

Thanks for all the work compiling this information! This will come in handy as I clean out my theme collection.

One quick note, I believe Linda McMahon's theme in "SmackDown! Shut Your Mouth" is just a loop edit of the "WrestleMania (Instrumental)", not an alternate version.

Yes, it's an instrumental loop edit, but the synth is actually different.

Yes, MM deleted the MEGA folder though, so the original thread is obsolete.

This link was posted in a thread I had made last year asking about ripping themes from a game. It has rips for almost all of the WWF/WWE games up to WWE 2K16. Based on a quick search, it appears it was originally posted by Alexandre, so I believe the credit goes to him. (Please correct me if I'm wrong!)

Oh okay, sorry. I searched up the link on the forums and one of your posts was the earliest result that showed up, so I assumed it was yours.
